Telematic Services (sertel) research group focuses its activity on the development and proposal of telematic services in telecommunication networks, with particular emphasis on security services. The group mainly investigates audiovisual services, multimedia distributed systems, and Internet and intranet corporative services. As for security services, the areas of greater interest are authenticity, privacy, copyright protection of multimedia content, and security in both wireless and group communication.

new: PROPOSAL FOR PHD RESEARCH
Applications are invited for two PhD studentships on privacy in information systems, and identity in P2P systems, under the supervision of Prof. Óscar Esparza, Prof. Jordi Forné and Dr. David Rebollo-Monedero, in collaboration with the Information Security Group, within the Department of Telematics Engineering at the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). Applicants must be citizens of the European Union.
